A Holy Find

This bible was discovered in a recent visit to the Hannah Arendt library at Bard College. To whom did it belong? Did it belong to Arendt's second husband, Heinrich Blücher, the German poet who taught philosophy at Bard for 17 years? Or perhaps did Arendt herself own it, notwithstanding her ambivalence towards all organized religion in the public sphere? We may never know.
