Hannah Arendt Center is Looking for an Intern

The Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities at Bard College is seeking an intern.

Position Description: The Center is looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented individual for research, organization, writing, transcribing, editing, and working with social media. As well, this position requires assisting with the logistics and set-up of events and conferences. Some membership database work possible.

This position works with the Academic Director and Director of Social Media and Outreach.

This position requires a commitment of 15-20 hours a week for six months. While the intern is not required to be physically at the Hannah Arendt Center for much of the work, applicants should be from the tri-state area and be able to travel to the Center or other locations as needed. This is an unpaid internship, but the schedule is fairly flexible. We are looking for someone to start immediately.

• Strong Writing Ability
• Strong Editing Ability
• Self-Starter
• Social Media & Web Savvy
• Detail-Oriented with strong follow through
• Interest in the work of the Hannah Arendt Center
