There are many ways to give to the Hannah Arendt Center Annual or Capital needs and potentially gain a tax benefit!

Other Ways to Give

  • Monthly or Quarterly Installments
Break up your gift into monthly or quarterly installments, or balance your gift with a monthly, recurring gift. Hannah Arendt Center can work with you to create a payment schedule conducive to your needs.
  • Give Stocks or Securities
Gifts of stocks are tax-deductible to the full extent of the IRS.
    Donate Stock
  • Matching Gifts
You can often double your donation!  Many companies will match employees’ philanthropic donations; this is a great way to increase the impact of your gift. Contact your HR department for more information. We are happy to help facilitate an employee-matching gift.
  • Donor Advised Funds
You may recommend contributions from your donor-advised fund (DAF) account to Hannah Arendt Center. Contact your sponsoring organization to ask about gifting guidelines.
  • Real Estate
Hannah Arendt Center accepts gifts of appreciated real estate such as a personal residence, vacation home, farm, commercial property, or undeveloped land. You could qualify for a significant tax deduction and potentially eliminate capital gains tax, as well as avoid ongoing costs like maintenance, property taxes, or insurance.
  • IRA Contribution Tax Benefits
For our patrons who are 70 ½ years young or above, you can make a difference with your donation AND save on taxes by making a gift directly from your IRA. Now THAT’s a “2 for 1” deal! Your qualified charitable distribution (QCD) may satisfy all or part of the amount of your required minimum distribution from your IRA.
  • Legacy Gifts
Deferred gifts and bequests may not qualify for a tax deduction immediately, but can provide significant long-term tax and income benefits to you or your loved ones. Contact us to learn more!
  • One-Time Donation
You don't have to become a member to support the Hannah Arendt Center. Click the link below and select Other.
