We're Hiring! Student Fellowship at the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities for the 2018–2019 Year

Wednesday, July 18, 2018 – Friday, August 31, 2018

This event occurred on:  The Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities seeks student applications to fill three (3–4) Student Fellow positions for the Courage to Be Program, a philosophical, scientific, and theological investigation into the religious and philosophical foundations of moral and spiritual courage. The project will consist of three mandatory dinners/lectures in spring 2019. The lectures will focus on “How and why do people resist evil?” Student Fellows will help organize the dinners, assist with selecting the speakers, and conduct interviews with the speakers, introduce the speakers, and organize events. Student Fellows will also assist in planning the Annual Fall Arendt Center Conference and be invited to the opening night Conference Dinner. This year's topic is Citizenship and Civil Disobedience.

REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking students who are organized, comfortable writing bios, interested in writing for the blog, and dependable. Students must be available to work on Monday evenings during the spring 2019 semester and be in good standing with the College. Students planning to study abroad Spring 2019 are not eligible. Pay: Student Fellows will be paid a $1,000 honorarium over the course of the academic year ($500 fall / $500 spring).
