The Political Theory of Hannah Arendt

This event occurred on:  This annual six-week humanities seminar is held at the Hannah Arendt Center. “The Political Theory of Hannah Arendt: The Problem of Evil and the Origins of Totalitarianism” is run by Dr. Kathleen Jones. Attendees, all of whom are full time school teachers, explore the problems of evil and look at a philosophical perspective on democracy and the use of violence to settle political conflicts by studying key works from Arendt.
