April 9th, 2026 Salon

April 9th, 2026 Salon

Seven members of Friends of HAC attended the Hannah Arendt Center’s April 9 salon featuring Roger Berkowitz and Chinese translator and scholar Yiyang Zhuge, who led a discussion on Hannah Arendt’s historical and contemporary influence in China. Members of Friends of HAC assisted with event planning and day-of coordination, including guest reception, event setup, and hospitality. Throughout the evening, leadership connected with alumni and attendees, expanded the Friends of HAC network through newsletter outreach, and promoted the organization’s mission to foster ongoing engagement with politics and the humanities beyond Bard. Zhuge also expressed enthusiasm for the growing Friends of HAC community and its continued connection to the Hannah Arendt Center.
