Babette Babich is one of the leading Continental Philosophers in the United States. She is the editor of the Journal New Nietzsche Studies and has written numerous books on Nietzsche, Heidegger, Hölderlin and other key figures in philosophy.
Professor Babich's book Nietzsche’s Philosophy of Science: Reflecting Science on the Ground of Art and Life is a classic work on the philosophy of science.
She is also the author of Words in Blood, Like Flowers: Philosophy and Poetry, Music and Eros in Hölderlin, Nietzsche, and Heidegger.
She gives talks around the world regularly and can be found in many You Tube videos
At Bard, Professor Babich will speak on Martin Heidegger's Approach to Humanism.
