Refugees in America (Rutgers UP, 2019) chronicles the personal journeys of people who arrived to the US under the refugee resettlement program. Given the current administration's policy to drastically curtail refugee resettlement here in the US, which is now in turn decimating existing resettlement infrastructure across the country, this talk will connect the stories to national debates and policies about the resettlement program.
