[Tough Talks: The Socialist Manifesto with Bhaskar Sunkara]

Tough Talks: The Socialist Manifesto with Bhaskar Sunkara

Tuesday, March 2, 2021
Online Event
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm EST/GMT-5

This event occurs on:  Tue. March 2, 6 pm – 8 pm

Maligned for generations, democratic socialism is having a resurgence in the United States. Bhaskar Sunkara of Jacobin magazine argues that despite the crimes of past authoritarian regimes governing in the name of socialism, there's a real track record of socialist success in democratic countries and that socialism represents the best bet of guaranteeing both freedom and prosperity for ordinary people in the 21st century.
