This month, host Roger Berkowitz chats with Philip Lindsay, our Director of the Democracy Innovation program where he runs workshops for public servants and educators on citizens' assemblies and participatory democracy. They'll discuss a new monthly webinar series we'll be offering starting in February, featuring our Democracy Innovation Academy. This is not a formal college course- it's a drop-in academy and networking opportunity for those hoping to learn more, or to connect with organizations, practitioners, or facilitators.
For Love of the World, every fourth Tuesday from 6-6:30 pm on Radio Kingston, is your portal to the bold ideas and respectful, deep conversations about contemporary issues that we’re having regularly at the Hannah Arendt Center at Bard College. Join us each month as we delve into the work of one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century, Hannah Arendt, with renowned scholars and public intellectuals, and exemplify what it means to have a conversation of patient humility, in the Arendtian tradition.
