[Volunteer Opportunity]

Hannah Arendt Center presents:

Volunteer Opportunity

The Arendt Forum on Solidarity: What Are We Fighting For?

Thursday, October 8, 2026
Olin Humanities Auditorium

This event occurs on:  Thu. October 8

The Hannah Arendt Center is looking for student volunteers for our 2026 ARENDT FORUM taking place Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17 at Bard College, with 30 minute volunteer training and shirt collections on Wednesday, October 14.

This year’s forum centers on the theme of solidarity and will bring together students, scholars, writers, artists, and members of the wider community for conversations around some of the most urgent political and social questions of our time.

Volunteers will contribute approximately 3–4 hours total over the course of the forum, with shifts scheduled around students’ classes and availability. Opportunities include:
  • Guest check-in and registration
  • Wayfinding and general event support
  • Auditorium and Q&A support
  • Hospitality and receptions
  • Lunch and breakout-session support
  • Merchandise and membership
Volunteers will still have plenty of opportunities to attend forum sessions outside of their assigned shifts. Interested students can apply here, by Thursday October 8th 2026.
