09-03-2019 Trained from University of Minnesota and NIH, Dr. Hua Wang has been a Professor in Department of Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, and Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Human Nutrition (OSUN) at the Ohio State University since 2001. With expertise in rapid detection of microorganisms and hazardous genes in foods, microbial biofilms and ecosystems, and antibiotic resistance, she has delivered a series of groundbreaking discoveries, responsible communications and targeted solutions that have changed the scientific understanding, and triggered innovative and paradigm changes for effective mitigation of antibiotic resistance and many modern diseases related to gut microbiota dysbiosis.
